Camino Flamenco is a collective of five Finnish flamenco artists:

Toni Jokiniitty – guitar
Ulla Mäkilä – vocals
Erika Alajärvi – dance, palmas
Tove Djupsjöbacka – dance, palmas
Marja Rautakorpi – dance, palmas

Camino Flamenco creates a harmonic combination of dance and live music. The repertoire is based on traditional flamenco with a twist of personality in it – a variety of dance numbers, strong singing solos and virtuoso guitar numbers are included. The collective’s three dancers are all of different ages and they all have their personal style of  moving, which enables the outcome to be full of diverse expression and nuances.

Camino Flamenco performed together for the first time in Stockholm in spring 2016 and has then toured Finland for a few years under the title ”Décadas – Flamencon voimaa!” (Décadas – The Power of Flamenco). The group has performed at Helsinki XX Flamenco Festival (2018) and Kaustinen Folk Music Festival (2017), as well as on countless stages in Finland from the Sibelius Museum in Turku to Kemijärvi Cultural Centre in Lapland. Together the group has performed in Finland and Sweden. Separately these artists have also performed in Spain, Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Russia.

Performances can be combined with an introductory lecture by Tove Djupsjöbacka, giving the audience a chance to deepen their knowledge about flamenco before the performance – lectures can also be held in English.

Courses in dance, guitar, song and rhythm are also possible and are all available in English.
